Alpha arbutin works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity to reduce the amount of melanin the skin produces. Less tyrosine and less melanin means a more even complexion with less pigmentation, fewer dark spots, and less-noticeable acne scars.
 
Arbutin is a glycoside phyto-chemical extracted from barberries and other medicinal plants.
Arbutin can even skin tone and brighten the skin by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and the skin's
production of melanin. Alpha Arbutin is much stronger in effect than Arbutin or Beta Arbutin.
It reduces the appearance of skin pigmentation, softens the apperance of spots and freckles,
and does not cause toxic, irritating, or allergenic effects on melanocytes.
 
 
By reducing the appearance of pigmentation spots and puffiness, this booster evens skin tone.
Arbutin is non-irritating, so it is gentle on sensitive skin. It also does not increase the skin's
sensitivity to the sun.
 
Glutathione accelerates the dissipation of melanin from the skin by inhibiting the dark coloration
caused by tyrosinase. Glutathione binds to Tyrosinase and helps prevent the enzymatic
pathways from producing melanin. It also helps to prevent the activation of Tyrosinase by
reducing free radicals in the body that can increase melanin production. With its ability to
eliminate the free radicals that damage the skin at the cellular level to cause aging and
discoloration, Glutathione brightens the skin back to its purest, fairest tone.

The seal in the Hydrojelly lid is designed to compress to keep the powder inside the container during storage and shipping. The seal is not intended to “stick” to the container, though sometimes it does. If you receive a Hydrojelly product from esthemax and the seal is not stuck to the mouth of the container, then rest assured that the product is fine. The seal is doing its job even though it does not adhere to the mouth of the container. All of our products are manufactured under stringent good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety and freshness.
 
Also note that as the seal is not intended to adhere to the jar and these products are filled and packaged in accordance with our quality control plan, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for Hydrojelly units where the seal does not adhere to the mouth of the jar.
